Hey friends,
A while ago, I filmed this knitting tutorial on how to join in the round and I thought it could be of value to you!
I remember, when I started knitting, pattern instructions would tell me to "join in the round, being careful not to twist". Huh, DUH!
But how can we actually do it without losing our minds? It's easy to say, or to write in a pattern, but concretely, how is it done?
Now, I don't go over different methods of joining in in this video, like casting on an extra stitch and passing it over, or twisting the first and last stitch, because these are all a matter of preference. But here you'll find the technique to make sure you avoid twisting your cast on every single time.
Also, feel free to laugh at me because I was using brand new circular needles, and the cord kept twisting on me, making shooting this video a lot harder!
So here it is!
Keep on knitting!
